The quality finish of our products is achieved with the following:
8-Stage Pre-treatment
Prior to powder coating, all steel products
are put through 8 separate pre-treatment
tanks, to ensure the steel is thoroughly cleaned and etched ensuring the powder
coating is applied smoothly resulting in the best finish possible. Aluminium products are pre-treated in
3 separate tanks.
Powder Coated finish
All coloured jobs are
powder coated in the state of the art powder coating
plant situated within our premises.
With over 100 powder coat colours to choose
from, we are also able to match all Colorbond® colours.
Environmental protections
Apart from being able to choose between steel & aluminium, we also have Priming, Anti-graffiti and Coastal Protection options
available. This ensures both the material and the powder coat finish do not deteriorate in corrosive environments.
The Primer is 'Zinc powder etch' which is
baked on to the product prior to powder coating
to 'seal' the material. Anti-Graffiti and Coastal
Protection are different levels of protection
that are applied over the powder coat in conjunction
with priming, which give greater protection to the product (including the powder coating) from environmental conditions such as sandblasting effects and salty air in coastal areas.
